At She Does Digital and SearchLeeds, we're no strangers to running events. For the last three years, we both have run events across the city to great success. So, what better than to work together on running a combined event?
Our goals tie in perfectly with that of SearchLeeds: At She Does Digital, we want to encourage more women into the amazing digital careers that our city has to offer, while showcasing role models and helping women to build their networks. SearchLeeds’ objective is to establish Leeds as the preferred global destination for search marketing business and talent by showcasing the industry-leading work and businesses in Leeds and by bringing the world’s best and brightest marketers to the city.
We've been conscious that all of our events have been in the evening so far, making it difficult for many women to attend, so this time we're shaking things up with a breakfast event.
Please join us at The Tetley, on Tuesday 16th October from 8:30am for a morning of inspiration and networking. We'll be providing breakfast (plus there's parking on site), so you don't need to bring anything but yourselves!
We'll be running two panels on topics dear to both She Does Digital and SearchLeeds - discussing why there are so few women in technical roles and what we can do to encourage them; and why there so many women going freelance - what can businesses in Leeds to better to retain these talented women? We'll be featuring bios of the panel members very soon.
